Jury Finds Meullion Not Guilty Of Murder

A Christian County Circuit Court jury returned a not guilty verdict late Thursday afternoon in the trial of Dorien Meullion who was charged with the murder of a Hopkinsville man two years ago, according to court officials.

Meullion was charged with shooting Tarone Williams at the Marathon gas station at the corner of East 9th and Campbell streets on October 15, 2016. Police reported Williams was sitting in his vehicle when he was shot, but he was able to drive. He then crashed his vehicle in front of Whistle Stop Donuts, where he was pronounced dead by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.

Meullion is still lodged in the Christian County Jail serving time on an unrelated crime.
