The Trigg County Country Ham Festival kicks off the day Saturday with the making of the largest country ham biscuit.
K.G. Ariagno with the Helping Hands organization in Cadiz tells the News Edge the biscuit goes into the oven early.
Ariagno says around 1,400 pieces of the biscuit will be served after it comes out of the oven.
She adds they are always looking for volunteers at Helping Hands.
The largest country ham biscuit is made in the Bank of Cadiz Main Street Parking Lot every Saturday morning of the Trigg County Country Ham Festival.
