A Cadiz man incarcerated in the Christian County Jail was indicted last week by the Trigg County Grand Jury for his role in an alleged assault that occurred in March.
The Trigg County Grand Jury returned an indictment Wednesday for 21-year old Jaquaveion Quo-Sean Greenwade for 1st Degree Assault. The charge stems from March 23rd when Kentucky State Police reported Greenwade was involved in the shooting of 22-year old Franklin Keeling of Cadiz. Keeling then reportedly drove himself to the Trigg County Hospital and he was then flown to a Nashville hospital.
In the early morning hours on April 29th, Greenwade was arrested by Hopkinsville Police after they reported he was found walking down the wrong side of the road and then gave police a false age and name. At that time, officers realized Greenwade was a suspect in a recent shooting in Cadiz. When Greenwade was being handcuffed, police say he fled down an active roadway, through unlit backyards, and jumped a fence. He was apprehended by officers and found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Hitchhiking/Disregarding Traffic Regulations By Pedestrian, Fleeing or Evading Police on Foot, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also served at that time with a warrant out of Christian County for Probation Violation for a misdemeanor offense.
The Christian County Sheriff’s office executed the Trigg County Indictment warrant on Greenwade for the assault Friday morning at the jail.
34-year old Guy Justin Gosnell of Cadiz was also indicted by the grand jury on charges of 1st Degree Criminal Mischief, and 1st Degree Persistent Felony Offender. The indictment states the charges stem from April 28 when he intentionally or wantonly destroyed, defaced, or damaged property belonging to someone else, causing a pecuniary loss of $1,000 or more. The indictment says Gosnell has also been convicted of two or more prior felony offenses.
And the grand jury indicted 52-year old Hershel Bush and 53-year old Vicki Lynn Boren, both of Cadiz, for 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Complicity, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. According to the indictment, Bush and Boren, knowingly and unlawfully indivdually or in complicity with each other possessed cocaine on May 19.
