Authorities are investigating the theft of more than $6,000 worth of furniture reported stolen from a storage unit off of Pembroke Road.
Michael Stagner reported to Hopkinsville Police Friday that sometime between 8am August 1, 2016 and 2pm May 21 that a suspect unlawfully removed a cherry wash stand dresser, a couch, and an arm chair from a storage unit at Parkway Self Storage located at 101 Lacy Lane. The estimated total value of the furniture is listed at $6,350.00.
The name of the suspect listed on the report has been redacted by police.
