After the tragic loss of their brother and friend, Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Lt. Kyle Spurlin says they are giving community members the opportunity to share their condolences for Officer Phillip Meacham.

He says the community will also be able to show their condolences as Officer Phillip Meacham will be escorted from the Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville through the streets of downtown Hopkinsville to Lamb’s Funeral Home on Lafayette Road sometime after 12:00 Friday afternoon. He notes the procession will exit the Pennyrile Parkway on the bypass to North Main all the way out to Country Club and to Lafayette Road to the funeral home. Lt. Spurlin indicates the intersections along this route will be blocked off during this time.

Meanwhile, Lt. Spurlin says an account has been set up with Planters Bank for Officer Meacham. He adds 100% of the donations will go directly to the family of Officer Meacham.

Donations may be made by going to any Planters Bank location and telling the teller you wish to make a donation to Officer Phillip Meacham’s Memorial Fund.

You can also mail donations to:
