Pembroke Man Charged With Resisting Arrest

Police say a disturbance at Waffle House in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of a Pembroke man for disorderly conduct and other offenses. Hopkinsville Police say officers responded to the call at 2923 Fort Campbell Boulevard just after 3:30pm where 60-year old Mark Hicks had been given a trespass warning from Waffle House. Police report Hicks went to Rally’s and Subway and was also trespassed from both fast food restaurants. Hicks then reportedly called Waffle House for no legitimate reason and when an officer got on the line, Hicks hung up and began to drive away. Officers say Hicks was pulled him over and told he was under arrest, at which time he resisted when they tried to handcuff him and put him in the patrol car.

Hicks was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief.
