All lanes have reopened on Interstate 24 in Lyon County. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokeseman Keith Todd reported the westbound lanes were shut down around 9:00 Wednesday morning due to an overturned semi on the Cumberland River Bridge.
Traffic was detoured off the I-24 Exit 40 Eddyville-Kuttawa Interchange to US 62 westbound with motorists returning to I-24 at the KY 453 Exit 31 Grand Rivers Interchange.
