The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Mortons Gap bank Wednesday afternoon. Major Will Coursey tells the News Edge they responded to the call around 12:18pm.
The armed robbery occurred at the U.S. Bank branch, located at 108 South Main Street.
He says detectives are continuing to work the case and still looking for leads. Major Coursey asks anyone with information about the robbery to contact Detective Joe Stratton at (270) 821-5661.
