Ribbon Cut For New Hopkinsville Hotel

Staff at the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott are ready to help guests stay, work, and play in the Hopkinsville community. H&W Management Company President Don Howard says they purchased the land when they decided the build the Hampton Inn and Suites over 10 years ago.

The new hotel has been years in the making.

Howard says the closure of the Fairfield Inn and Suites meant a loss of customers in Hopkinsville and they are hoping to get them back.

The Christian County Chamber held a ribbon cutting for the hotel Tuesday, and General Manager Nathan Allen says they are excited to showcase the hotel and Hopkinsville.

Lexington based H&W also owns the Comfort Inn and Suites in Madisonville as well as several hotels in eastern Kentucky and in West Virginia.
