Hopkinsville Man Charged With 2nd DUI

A Hopkinsville man is facing his second DUI after he was reportedly stopped for speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Hopkinsville Police say the traffic stop occurred in the 2300 block around 11:40 Tuesday night after 35-year old Stefan P'Pool, Jr. was observed by officers driving 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone in heavy rain and saturated road conditions.

Upon contact, police report P'Pool had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, and he failed one of the three field sobriety tests.

P'Pool was arrested and booked into the Christian County Jail charged with Two Fast for Road Conditions, and DUI 2 Offense – Aggravated for refusing the breathalyzer test.
