A Murray State University professor will be challenging First District Congressman James Comer. Paul Walker announced Tuesday that he will run as a democrat for the First District Congressional seat.
Walker says he is running because the concerns and interests of working people should be better addressed in Congress. He adds every American deserves the chance for financial security and affordable access to education and healthcare.
Walker teaches courses in writing, rhetoric and literature. He previously worked as a U.S. Forest Service firefighter and a Grand Canyon river guide.
