Police are investigating a homicide at a Bennett Drive apartment in Clarksville. Police responded to a shooting around 10:45 Sunday morning that occurred at 119 Bennett Drive and found a deceased male in his late 20s inside the apartment with a gunshot wound. Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the man was alone inside the apartment when officers arrived.
Knoll indicates the crime scene was processed and detectives are following up on leads, but are not currently looking for a specific person. He adds the preliminary investigation does not indicate any danger to the public.
