Freezing Rain Chance Diminishing

It appears the threat of freezing rain for the southern Pennyrile area has diminished. The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures to remain in the low 40s through the early evening hours, then drop to around 35 overnight.

Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says due to cold road temperatures a minor threat remains for the region, but that will quickly change.

Rain is in the forecast for Monday, with temperatures to climb near 40 degrees.
