Two Women Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit

Two Florida women were arrested Friday in Caldwell County following a vehicle pursuit that started in Madisonville.

According to a news release from the Madisonville Police Department, officers responded to First United Bank on North Main Street after receiving a complaint of suspicious activity; the occupants of a 2017 black Nissan Sentra were attempting to pass a forged check that was consistent with a victim from a recent theft.

When officers arrived at the bank, the driver of the car, 38-year old Nicole Ryan of Palm Bay, exited the parking lot at a high rate of speed. As they drove, Ryan and her passenger, 30-year old Tiara Adrande, reportedly threw documents out of the window. Soon, Ryan merged their vehicle onto Interstate 69.

When Ryan attempted to exit I-69 in Caldwell County, the vehicle crossed KY 293 and struck an embankment. Both women were taken to Caldwell County Medical Center for treatment of injuries, and Ryan was later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Adrande was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.

Now, Ryan and Adrande face a list of drug, theft, traffic and other charges.
