U.S. Senator Rand Paul plans to introduce a bill that would end foreign aid to Pakistan. In his weekly update from Washington, Senator Paul says we should stop sending our hard earned tax dollars to Pakistan.
He adds the United States has sent over $33 billion to Pakistan since 2002 without getting much in return.
According to Senator Paul, he has been fighting to end aid to Pakistan for years, but now, he adds, we have a break through because President Donald Trump has publicly called to end the aid to Pakistan. He notes President Trump is currently holding up $22 million of it. However, Senator Paul says he wants to end all of the aid and redirect it back into the United States.
Senator Paul adds it's time for an America first policy and end foreign aid.
