Several people filed for office in Christian County Friday. Christian County Clerk Mike Kem is looking for another term in office. Kem says he just started his 20th year.
He says the job is more than it is in other states.
Kem has been involved in the state County Clerk's Association even serving as president and currently on the Executive Board. He says there are minor changes he is hoping to make if he is re-elected.
Also filing Friday was Hopkinsville City Council Ward 10 Incumbent Jimmy Dossett and Christian County Constable Pat Gresham. Gresham was appointed to the position following the passing of her husband, Chuck in March 2017.
