Amy Berry

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

I’m nearly a native of Hopkinsville. My family moved to town when I was 10, so that’s close enough, right? I graduated from Hopkinsville High School and headed to Western Kentucky University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Broadcasting.

After college I came back home, and I’ve spent my entire professional career in this area, and have always been in the advertising and marketing field. I started as a sales representative at TV-43 right out of college. What a great experience to learn about helping small businesses!

After four years at the t.v. station, I went to work in my family’s business. My department was responsible for buying and planning the advertising for our chain of retail stores. We were also heavily involved in buying products for our stores and developing sales and marketing plans. I like to say I took a 9-year sabbatical from selling advertising, and I sat on the “other side” of the desk. That experience helped me tremendously to understand the needs and challenges you, our small business owners and managers, face every day.

I joined the team at WKDZ and WHVO in August of 2002, and I’ve never looked back! I love spending time every day to find ways to help our small businesses grow and prosper, and I love serving our communities through our company’s involvement in so many events in the region. It is my passion not only to help my clients succeed in business, but also to help every member of our sales team be the best they can be, so that they can help their customers grow, as well.

Let WKDZ/WHVO, and a member of our sales and marketing team help you grow your business!
