A Hopkinsville man is in custody for allegedly running over a woman in December. Kentucky State Police arrested 21 year-old Michael Wolf shortly before 5:00 Saturday afternoon and charged him with Assault 1st degree and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
Wolf is accused of running his vehicle over 33 year-old Ashley Rivera-Mena of Nortonville on December 21st. The alleged assault occurred after a verbal altercation in Mannington. Ms. Rivera-Mena was transported to Baptist Health Madisonville, then flown to an Evansville hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police had been on the lookout for Wolf since the incident. He was arrested after Troopers Brian Graves and Hunter Carroll saw him Saturday afternoon on Greenville Road near Hopkinsville. Wolf was in possession of a concealed weapon when he was stopped by the troopers. He was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
