Cotthoff Opening New Law Practice In 2018

A new law practice is opening for business in Hopkinsville. On New Years Eve, former Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Michael Cotthoff announced he would be starting his own practice in 2018. After serving as Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Christian County for eight years, Cotthoff says it seemed like the right time to branch out.

Before working in the Commonwealth's Attorney's office, Cotthoff clerked for Judge Andrew Self and Judge John Atkins in the Christian Circuit Court System. He graduated from the Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

According to its Facebook page, Cotthoff's new practice specializes in criminal and personal injury law, as well as divorce and family law.
