Severe storms will be possible during that time period. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats. However, a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.
Kentucky and Barkley Dams Operating At Capacity To Manage Floodwaters
All but three of Kentucky Dam's concrete flood gates are completely open, with at least four flood gates at Barkley Dam doing the same to ease flooding and to manage flood waters in the lakes and along the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers.  Click here to see photos by Susan Watts.
