Earth Day
Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp, Christian County Magistrate Tom Jones, State Representative John Tilley all spoke about recycling efforts, green energy and other Earth Day topics during the 3rd Annual Hopkinsville-Christian County Earth Day Celebration Thursday at Trail of Tears Park.  Soil conservation officials, the Little River Audobon Society, The City of Hopkinsville and other groups participated in the event, with the Convention and Visitors Bureau serving hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch.
