Administrative Assistant
This position for the Tourist Commission will work closely with the Executive Director, task oriented, self-initiative, friendly, courteous, and familiar with the region in terms of attractions and locations.
Duties include but not limited to: General Office Duties, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Taxes and Payroll, Personnel Training and Orientation, Inventory Control, Public Speaking, Projects as assigned, help with Social Media Accounts, computer skills to include, Word, Excel, Publisher, Power-Point, as well as Word-Press. Knowledge of Photography and Media Libraries also a plus. Available weekends of Events, Organizational Skills, and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range will be $10/Hr. to $12/Hr. (35-40 hours per Week)
Welcoming Receptionist
The Receptionist must be flexible in scheduling, task oriented, and have self-initiative. The candidate will be friendly, courteous and familiar with the region. Duties will include but not limited: Answering the phone, transferring calls, screening calls, and taking messages. Responsible for keeping stock of information, brochures, maps, guides, and other info daily for our visitors. Check, clean, and stock public restrooms as needed, comfortable with computers in terms of looking up maps, and events.
Must be able to give directions, and work on weekends on a regular alternating basis. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and there will be other duties as assigned.
Pay Range will be $8.00/Hr. to $9.25/Hr. (20-35 hours per Week)
