From the News Edge: Transportation officials are reporting a traffic backup along the westbound lanes of I-24 in the work zone from near the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line to the Fort Campbell Boulevard exit. The contractor is pouring concrete as part of ongoing pavement rehabilitation work around the 89-mile marker, near the Pembroke-Oak Grove exit. While concrete trucks are moving in and out of this work area delivering material, the traffic backup appears to be more related to heavy traffic along the westbound lanes today. Westbound I-24 traffic in this work zone is backed up about 3 to 4 miles at this time with traffic slowed to about 35 mph in the area. To help reduce traffic congestion in this area, regular commuters who normally travel this section of I-24 westbound are being asked to seek an alternate route, if possible...............................................................................................................................A Night With The Blues is Saturday night at the Alhambra Theatre. Combining Radio and Website

Radio and the Internet make perfect marketing partners.  Radio has proven its ability to drive consumers to advertised Websites.  With radio, you can target customers by demographic group, lifestyle trends, and specific group affinity.  Since the average radio listener spends more than 3 hours each day weekdays and more than five hours per weekend with their favorite stations, it's easy to generate enough message frequency to get them to check out your online advertisement.  Web advertising gives you the perfect opportunity to run online specials and to show previews of your product to buyers before they make their purchase.

Radio is virtually the only medium a computer user can enjoy while browsing the web.  Your Radio message can draw the attention of potential online customers before, during, and after their Internet use.  Fifty-seven million Americans are listening to radio over the Internet every day.

"The growing strength of Radio websites complements Radio as a medium," said Bob Jordan. "Radio websites put Radio on a par with other media in adding visual component and the ability to add features such as coupons for an advertiser. Radio stations have much to gain by including the websites with the traditional Radio campaign."
