2010 Polar Plunge
The 2010 Polar Plunge to benefit special Olympics Kentucky was held Saturday, February 20, at Kentucky Dam Village. It was the first time a Polar Plunge has been held in this area, and it was a huge success with over 145 people taking the plunge into Kentucky Lake. Duncan Wiggins represented Trigg County with donations totaling over $1100 - more than $27,000 was raised!

Trigg county emergency personnel responded to an evening house fire on Mack Cunningham Road around 5:30. The house reportedly belongs to Brandon and Kelly Fowler.

EAGLE CRUISE
WKDZ's Alan Watts was aboard the CQ Princess as it set sail Monday from Lake Barkley State Resort Park in search of eagles. Mary Schmidt lead the tour and spotted 35 eagles with the help of many media guests. The colder weather over the weekend brought out 55 eagles on the boat tour Saturday and 50 on Sunday.
