Greenland Farm Hosts Christian Co 4-H Farm Days

Christian County first graders know more about what happens on the farm thanks to Four-H Farm Days at Greenland Farms. Farm owner Joey Pendleton says they hosted farm days several years ago and it was good to see it return this year.

Pendleton's wife Diane Wood says the farm days seem to have been good for the kids and the adults.

Christian County 4-H Agent Matt Futtrell says the first graders learned about several aspects of farming.

He agreed with Pendleton that the real aim is helping people gain a better understanding of farming and agriculture.

4-H agents Kaitlyn Metzker and Kendriana Price, several extension staff members and 4-H volunteers helped with farm days.
