Oak Grove Home Suffers Smoke & Heat Damage

An Oak Grove home suffered heavy smoke and heat damage Monday. Three fire departments responded around 11:30am to a report of smoke coming from 604 South Cavalcade Circle. Herndon Volunteer Fire Chief Neil Farmer says the fire is being investigated by the Fort Campbell Fire Department.

According to Farmer, the fire appeared to have originated in the livingroom, possibly where a mattress was lying on the floor. Firefighters from the Fort Campbell and Oak Grove Fire Departments assisted at the scene, along with the Christian County Sheriff's Office.
