Emma Talley is ready to begin her second season on the Symetra Golf Tour in an attempt to earn her LPGA card for 2018.

The Princeton native finished 26th in her first season on the tour despite missing the first several events while she was in college at the University of Alabama.  She still had three top 10 finishes and earned over $35,000 in her first season.

Talley will again compete on the Symetra Tour in 2017.  A top 10 finish on the money list will ensure her a spot on the 2018 LPGA Pro Tour.

Talley was a guest on the Saturday Morning Sports Report with Scott Brown to discuss her 2017 plans.

It was a big night in the Music City on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016.  Not only did FALL officially begin, but the National Association of Broadcasters held their annual radio banquet at the Omni Hotel in Nashville.  You could hear a pin drop as the finalists for National Small Market Station of The Year were announced.  Once the winner was announced, you couldn't hear a thing!  A table full of WKDZ staffers were "Hootin' & Hollerin'" as they watched owner & group general manager, Beth Mann, take the podium to accept the Marconi Award for Small Market Station of The Year.  This marks the third Marconi for 106.5 WKDZ, winning in 2002, 2013, and most recently 2016.

Beth Mann visited with Bill Booth during the "Live Afternoon Drive" the next day to talk about receiving this prestigous award.






Beth also visited with the Country Club morning show the  following Monday to discuss the significance of this honor.

Seven number one hits and 29 charted singles, that just scratches the surface of a man who has been a licensed mortician, a radio air personality, and a huge Country Music Star since 1978.  Country Legend John Conlee is coming to the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center to help WKDZ celebrate 50 years of service to the community on Thursday, August 11th.  By the way, that night is his birthday too!  There will be singing and cake.   He recently took time to visit with Bill Booth on 106.5 WKDZ.
