Freeze Watch In Effect

It appears that Old Man Winter may have one more round of cold weather in store for us. According to the latest from the National Weather Service, a Freeze Watch is in effect from late Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning.  Low temperatures early Wednesday are expected to dip to the upper 20’s or low 30s, thereby prompting the watch.

Forecasters note that with temperatures that low, new early season vegetation could be damaged or killed by the freezing conditions. Those with plants and sensitive vegetation are advised to keep a close eye on the forecast and be prepared to take protective measures if needed.
