Fire Marshall Investigating Monday Morning Fire

The State Fire Marshall's office is investigating a fire early Monday morning that destroyed a residence on Antioch Church Road. Firefighters from the Highland and Lacy fire departments responded around 3:30am Monday to the scene at 6600 Antioch Church Road after the fire was reported by a Christian County Sheriff's Deputy. According to Highland Fire Chief Henry Jago, the structure, which is owned by Brad Fuller, was already fully involved by the time that firefighters arrived on the scene.

Jago told the News Edge the State Fire Marshall's office was already investigating a suspicious fire at the same location last week that started in the crawl space beneath the house and did more than $4,000 in damage. Jago said no one was at home at the time the fire started. The structure was located around 3/4 of a mile off the road.
