Fatal DUI Accident



An Illinois man is dead after a drunk driving incident Thursday night in Muhlenberg County. Kentucky State Police say 57 year old year old Michael J. Rogall of Elmhurst, IL was northbound on KY 181 in a tractor trailer hauling frozen stir fry when his right tire dropped off the road. The tractor trailer overturned and Rogall was not wearing a seatbelt.

He was initially transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital but was transferred to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville where he succumbed to his injuries. Rogall was initially cited for DUI and Driving with an Open Container of Alcohol.
