Three Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges



Hopkinsville Police say three people are facing cocaine trafficking charges after they were arrested Thursday during a joint investigation by the Department's Special Investigations unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. According to information from Hopkinsville Public Information Officer Paul Ray, 31-year old Lorenzo Dantonio Quarles, of Clarksville, was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in Cocaine.

Ray says during a second traffic stop police arrested 41-year old Joseph Martin and 23-year old Tosha Adcock, both of Louisville. Police charged Martin and Adcock with 1st Degree Trafficking in Cocaine - Firearm Enhanced, 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Transaction with a Minor. Ray says officials seized 114 grams of crack cocaine, 354 grams of powder cocaine, other unspecified drugs, two vehicles, a firearm and approximately $16,900 in cash.
