Hopkinsville Man Charged With Assaulting Officer



A Hopkinsville man faces charges for allegedly assaulting a Hopkinsville Police officer Tuesday. According to the report, police were initially called out to the report of a disturbance at Christian County Manor. Officers arrived on the scene at Richard Street to find 30-year old Kevin Haskins allegedly acting very agitated and uncooperative.

Police say Haskins then attempted to leave and, as police attempted to detain him, he allegedly punched an officer in the face. Haskins was arrested on a charge of 3rd Degree Assualt and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
