Murray State Put On Lockdown Tuesday Night

A Murray State student was taken into custody Tuesday night after the report of a gunman led to a campus lockdown. According to an email sent out from MSU Public Safety and Emergency Management, the campus was locked down around 8:45pm after there was a report of a man with a long gun in the area of the Franklin Residential College.

According to the Murray State News, a witness reportedly then saw that individual get into a silver vehicle and drive away from campus. The report goes on to say that a short time later, Murray Police took Reyon Williams, of 501 Campus Evolution Villages North into custody. Officials say no shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.
