Soldiers Returning Home Friday Afternoon



Another group of Fort Campbell soldiers is scheduled to return home later this week. According to a news release, approximately 60 Soldiers from Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will officially be welcomed home Friday afternoon. Family, friends and fellow soldiers will gather for the Welcome Home ceremony, which will welcome the returning soldiers from a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan, where the unit provided counter-rocket, artillery and mortar support for coalition forces. As of this time, the Welcome Home ceremony is scheduled for 2:55pm Friday.
