Caldwell Home Health Agency Changing Hands

An area home health agency is changing hands. According to a news release, Almost Family announced Friday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of the Caldwell Medical Center's home health agency. William Yarmuth, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Almost Family says the addition of Caldwell County Home Health will add to their already strong position in Western Kentucky.

Caldwell County Home Health generated approximately 1.3-million dollars of revenue in 2013. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, however the transaction is expected to close before the end of April 2014 subject to regulatory approvals.

Almost Family, which was founded in 1976, is a leading regional provider of home health nursing services, with branch locations in Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi and Alabama. Almost Family operates over 240 branch locations in fourteen U.S. states.
