H Is For Hoptown Book Unveiled

A joint venture between the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Hopkinsville Art Guild was unveiled at a reception last night in Hopkinsville. A new book, "H is for Hopkinsville", was displayed to the public for the first time. Margaret Primm, Executive Director of the Arts Council, says the group is excited to finally display the book.

The original art work was on display and on sale through a silent auction. Henrietta Kemp with the Art Guild says any work not sold would still be available.

The book is 22 dollars and Kemp says they will be available at 6 locations in town.

Proceeds from the sale of the book and the art work will underwrite the educational programs of the Arts Council and the Art Guild.
