Muhlenberg County Man Arrested In Hopkins County Murder

A Muhlenberg County man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Hopkins County man whose remains were found in June, in a creek bed, near Continental Drive, in Madisonville. According to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, 28-year old Craig Davenport, of Central City, was arrested Tuesday, after being indicted by the Hopkins County Grand Jury on charges of 2nd Degree Manslaughter, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Being a Persistent Felony Offender.

The charges are in connection with the death of 42-year old Rodney "Bo" Hale, of Nebo. Hale was reported missing in November of 2010. The Hopkins County Sheriff's Department says the findings of the Medical Examiner's office were presented to the Grand Jury Tuesday, with Davenport arrested later in the day at his Central City residence. He was transported to the Hopkins County Jail on Wednesday.
