Woman Hospitalized Following Incident Saturday



The Trigg County Sheriff's Department is investigating a Saturday incident that sent the victim to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Sheriff Ray Burnam says the department was called to incident on New Hope Road around 2:15 that involved a woman reportedly falling out of an SUV while the vehicle was traveling down the road. Burnam says the woman, whose name was not available, was taken by air to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Burnam indicated the victim was conscience when he arrived on the scene.

The sheriff says Dwight Hunter, of Trigg County, was arrested in connection with the incident. He was charged with dui, driving with a suspended license and tampering with physical evidence.
