Veterans Parade To Be Held Saturday In Hopkinsville

Christian County residents are being encouraged to come out and honor veterans Saturday as part of the annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Hopkinsville. VFW Post 1913 Commander, John Brame says the event is special.

He says the most important people who need to turn out are the veterans.

The parade will start at 10 at the War Memorial Building on South Virginia Street and continue to the Christian County Justice Center, where a short program will take place. The public is invited out to line the sidewalks and cheer on the veterans as they walk the parade route.  If you can't attend the parade, listen to Oldies Radio 96.5 and 100.9 FM beginning at 10 for parade coverage with News Director Alan Watts and VFW Post 1913 Commander John Brame.
