Woman Injured In Calloway County House Explosion Dies




Kentucky State Police say one of the four injured last weekend in a fatal home explosion in Calloway County succummed to injuries. Police say they were notified by the Nashville Medical Examiner's Office Saturday that 70-year old Barbara Parker, of Murray, passed away Friday at 4:02pm at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Parker was injured in the explosion at 669 Cook Store Trail in Calloway County Saturday, September 14. 72-year old Kenneth Story, of Murray, was killed in the explosion. 60-year old Ira Greer, Of Almo, 54-year old Marty Story, of Murray, and 41-year old Melissa McLeod, of Hazel, were also injured in the fire. KSP Detective Steve Silfies continues the investigation.
