More Than 50 Tractors Participate In Plow Day

Antique tractor drivers and spectators young and old took a trip down memory lane Saturday morning during the West Kentucky Antique Power Associations Tractor Plow Day at Garnett Farm in south Christian County. Organizer Hal Fennell says he was pleased with 56 tractors that were on hand for the event.

Fennell says the event helps alot of people remember how things used to be on the farm.

Fennell says the oldest tractor at the plow day takes a little elbow grease to get started.

The plow day was hosted on the Garnett Farm off Long Pond Road. The day began with a parade of tractors, with action then moving to the field where the tractor began to turn the soil.
