Chief Justice Minton Talks To DAR About Constitution

Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton Jr. spoke to the Trigg County Daughters of the American Revolution Saturday in honor of Constitution Week. He told a colorful story about the origins of the U.S. Constitution.

Chief Justice Minton says he found an interesting Kentucky connection to what have been called our nation’s most sacred documents.

He says one of the guiding principles of the Constitution is securing the blessings of liberty for ourselves and future generations.

He challenged people today to teach children what America is and what it represents. He says it is the only way to guard the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in this community and beyond.
