Body Found On I-69 Near Dawson Springs

State Police are investigating the death of a Paducah man, whose body was located Thursday afternoon near Dawson Springs. According to the report, just before 2:00pm, a construction worker in the Interstate 69 work zone notified authorities after finding the body of 53-year old Timothy Hickman in a pickup truck parked inside of the work area in the southbound lanes of I-69.

State Police investigators arrived at the scene and began an investigation into the discovery. State Police note that, as of this time, cause of death has not been determined, and foul play is not suspected at this time. An autopsy is being performed at the West Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville.
