Teenager Arrested For Auto Breakins

A Hopkinsville teenager is accused of being involved in numerous auto breakins following his arrest Thursday. Police were investigating 18-year old Mark Crawford in connection with an auto breakin late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, at 3016 Elinor Drive, in which more than 2000-dollars worth of items were stolen.

Hopkinsville Police say Crawford then reportedly confessed to at least 12 incidents during interviews. Police go on to note that a laptop was recovered from a dumpster on Virginia Street, where Crawford had admitted to placing it. He is charged with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
