Body Of Missing Fort Campbell Soldier Found

Family members are confirming the body of missing Fort Campbell Soldier Specialist Brandon Bertolo was found Friday morning in a training area just off the main post.
According to a Facebook post on a page set up by family members to ask for information about the missing soldier, Bertolo's mother Anita Flores confirmed that her son's body had been located. The Tennessean reports his body was found in a wooded area around 8:30 Friday morning near South Group Patrol Road, a few miles west of Cole Park Golf Course.
Specialist Bertolo had been missing since he failed to report for duty Monday morning. A Thursday news release from the post said he was being investigated on an unrelated matter.
Bertolo was a line medic with Bravo Company, 2nd Batallion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division.
