Cadiz Field Of Flags Retired During Saturday Ceremony

The third annual Field of Flags closing ceremony was held today in Cadiz. The ceremony is a project of American Legion Post 74 in Cadiz.

Chuck Rockhold, commander of the American Legion Post 74 in Cadiz says the key objective is simple.

Retired US Army Colonel Chappell Wilson told those at the ceremony that the American flag flies all over the wold to honor American soldiers.

This year's Field of Flags included 253 flags honoring military heroes who fought in conflicts including World War II, Korea and Vietnam, and those who continue to fight today.
