Bond Denied For Accused Grave Vandal

Christian Circuit Judge John Atkins is asking for information from both sides before agreeing to let the three men accused of vandalizing graves at the Rosedale Cemetery, out on bond. Jason Petrie, attorney for James Russell, asked the judge to allow his client to be released to his parent's custody.

Commonwealth's Attorney Lynn Pryor says the community was affected by the February 26th incident.

Judge Atkins denied the initial bond motion, but did say he wants more information.

Russell and his codefendents, Phillip Walker and George Hill, will appear in court on June 5th.
