JSMC Announces Bell Scholarship Recipients



Jennie Stuart Medical Center has announced two recipients of the Doctor Henry Bell Scholarship for 2013. Kentiana Greenwade, of Hopkinsville, and William Sharp, of Elkton, each earned a $2,000 scholarship to help them pursue careers in medicine. The recipients are selected by the Medical Staff and Board of Trustees of Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

The scholarships are awarded each year to two students planning a career in the healthcare field who demonstrate strong motivation and are in need of financial assistance. Kentiana plans to pursue a career in nursing, while William plans to pursue a career in pharmacy, both are planning on attending the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Henry Bell was a family practice physician at JSMC for a number of years, and also founded Bell Clinic, in Elkton.
