Michelle Ladd To Lead Indian Hills Elementary

A Caldwell County Schools assistant principal will take over as principal at Indian Hills Elementary School July 1st. Christian County Schools Communications and Community Education Director Heather Aubin says Michelle Ladd was selected recently by the Indian Hills Site Based Council. Ladd currently serves as Assistant Principal at Caldwell County Middle School.

Ladd is a graduate of Murray State University. She earned her Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Louisville and her Rank I in Administration from Murray State. Ladd has 14 years of experience in education as a special education teacher and as an assistant principal.

Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill says she is pleased with the council's decision to hire Ladd, adding her success as a teacher and assistant principal make her an ideal candidate for the position. Ladd was one of 19 candidates that applied for the principal vacancy at Indian Hills.
