An April 1st sentencing date has been set in the case of a Nevada man who ran over a man in Hopkins County in 2011. 47-year old Arthur Deramo entered a guilty plea Tuesday to a charge of 2nd Degree Manslaughter in Hopkins Circuit Court.
Deramo admitted he was drunk when he ran over and killed Jeremy Goodwin, and then panicked and backed over Goodwin again, after Goodwin had fallen out the van the two men were riding in. Hunters later found Goodwin's remains along Highway 2171, after he had been missing for about seven months. Deramo is facing 10 years in prison.
